Community Involvement
Rob Martin and Robin Hall, partners and owners of Great Divide Home Builders believe giving back to the Helena community is an important and very rewarding component of their business. During Rob's tenure as president of the Helena Building Association, a group was formed called the Helping Hands committee which is chaired by Robin. This committee accepts applications from people or organizations who need assistance with building projects which may pose health & safety issues but who cannot afford to hire a craftsman for the project. Rob is always on hand for these projects volunteering his time and knowledge whatever the task. Some projects have included roofing, siding, window replacement, a veteran's ramp, and assembly/erection of playground equipment for a local school.
Rob and Robin have also donated their time and abilities to numerous Habitat for Humanity projects around Helena as well as participating annually in Helena's "Spirit of Service Day" helping elderly and low income homeowner's with construction projects.
Robin is a member of the building committee of Helena's YWCA for homeless area women. Rob and Robin have both volunteered their time and talents to the YWCA's "Donate A Room" project in which old rooms in the building are renovated and made habitable again.
"Giving back to this great community is something we thoroughly enjoy and pride ourselves in finding the time to do", says Robin.
